- Do not leave a burning candle unattended.

Workshop Disclaimer
Venue Requirements
To provide the best experience, please ensure:
- The workshop is held in a clean, dry, level indoor area with adequate lighting and ventilation.
- Suitable tables and enough seating are available for all participants before my arrival.
- A standard 230V power outlet is available within easy reach of the workshop area.
- The workspace is free from unnecessary clutter and trip hazards.
- Pets are kept away from the workshop area during the event.
- Participants have sufficient space to work comfortably and move around safely.
If your event is planned outdoors, a fully enclosed marquee or sheltered area must be provided to protect participants, materials, and equipment from wind, rain, and direct sunlight.
Weather Policy
As Royal Candles NZ is a mobile workshop service, participant safety and product quality are our highest priorities.
- Workshops may proceed during light rain only if a suitable indoor venue or fully enclosed covered area is available.
- In the event of severe weather or unsafe travel conditions, your workshop may be postponed and rescheduled to the next mutually agreed date at no additional charge.
- If the venue is deemed unsafe due to weather or environmental conditions, Royal Candles NZ reserves the right to postpone the workshop to ensure everyone's safety.
Health & Safety
The safety of all participants is our highest priority.
By attending this workshop, participants acknowledge and agree that:
- Hot wax, heated equipment, fragrance oils, and candle-making tools will be used throughout the workshop.
- All participants must follow the facilitator's health and safety instructions at all times.
- Children under 12 years of age must be supervised by a responsible adult throughout the entire workshop.
- Participants should advise the facilitator of any allergies, sensitivities, injuries, or medical conditions that may affect their participation before the workshop begins.
- Closed-toe footwear is recommended for safety.
- For health and safety reasons, participants must not interfere with the wax melter or other heated equipment unless instructed by the facilitator.
- Royal Candles NZ reserves the right to stop any activity that places participants, spectators, or property at risk.
